Reactivity
CHLORDANE is a chlorinated cyclodiene (unsaturated hydrocarbon). Decomposes in base. Corrosive to iron and zinc. Can react with strong oxidizing agents. Attack some plastics, rubbers and coatings (NTP, 1992).
