Affiliate Disclosure
How we participate in affiliate programs, how we mark affiliate links, and why our editorial content remains independent of commission.
Last updated: 13 June 2026
How affiliate relationships work
GHS Pictograms (ghspictograms.com) is an independent reference for GHS hazard classification and chemical safety compliance, operated from Riga, Latvia. We participate in affiliate programs with selected providers of SDS authoring and management software and adjacent chemical-compliance services. When a reader clicks an affiliate link from our pages and subsequently makes a purchase or subscribes, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to the reader.
Affiliate commissions help fund our independent content. They do not determine which tools or services we cover, how we describe them, or what we recommend.
How affiliate links are marked
Every outbound affiliate link on this site carries two visible signals plus two technical signals:
- A dagger symbol (†) appears immediately next to the link text.
- Pages containing affiliate links display an affiliate disclosure note.
- The HTML attribute
rel="sponsored nofollow noopener"is applied to every affiliate link, in line with Google's webmaster guidelines. - Affiliate links open in a new tab via
target="_blank".
If a link does not show a dagger and is not on a page with an affiliate disclosure, it is not an affiliate link.
Active affiliate programs
This section lists every active partnership as it goes live, along with the date the partnership began.
Currently active
No active affiliate programs at this time. This list will be updated when our first partnership goes live.
Editorial independence
Our compliance content, comparisons, and tool descriptions are written before any affiliate decision is made. We frequently describe and recommend tools and services for which we receive no commission, when they are the right fit for the reader.
We do not write articles or descriptions in exchange for commission, payment, or product. Where a provider has paid for a featured or sponsored placement, that placement is clearly labelled Sponsored and kept separate from editorial content. There is no sponsored content on this site at present.
We may decline to recommend an affiliate partner if our editorial evaluation finds the product unsuitable for our readers, regardless of commission terms.
Editor's commitment
If an affiliate partner's product no longer meets our editorial standard, we remove the affiliate placement before we change what we say about it. Commission never overrides accuracy.
