1. About these terms

These terms govern use of the website ghspictograms.com (the "site"), operated by GHS Pictograms from Riga, Latvia. By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site.

2. Purpose of the site

GHS Pictograms publishes an independent reference for GHS hazard classification and chemical safety compliance — including the Compliance Hub (UN GHS, OSHA HCS, CLP, SDS, REACH, and SVHC), a substance database, label and inspection tools, and explanatory content. The site is intended for EHS (environmental, health, and safety) professionals, compliance and procurement teams, and others responsible for chemical hazard communication in a business context.

We may earn affiliate commissions when readers purchase or subscribe to tools and services we link to, at no additional cost to the reader. We do not author, sell, or fulfil safety data sheets or labels on a reader's behalf. See our Affiliate disclosure for details.

3. Editorial content is reference, not professional advice

Content on this site — including the Compliance Hub articles, substance data, tools, and explanatory material — is published for general reference. It is not legal advice, regulatory advice, engineering advice, or a substitute for professional consultation specific to your jurisdiction and use case.

Chemical hazard communication is regulated under multiple frameworks (UN GHS; OSHA HCS in the US; CLP and REACH in the EU; and transport rules such as ADR, IMDG, and IATA). The GHS pictograms themselves are published by the United Nations as part of the GHS and are not proprietary to us. Third-party logos, product images, and trademarks shown on the site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and editorial commentary purposes. Use of such marks does not imply endorsement by the trademark owner.

7. No warranty

The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We take reasonable care to ensure information is accurate at the time of publication, but we do not warrant that the site or its content is error-free, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GHS Pictograms and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with use of the site, including loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In all cases our aggregate liability is limited to one hundred euros (EUR 100) or the total fees you have paid us in the preceding twelve months, whichever is higher.
