Corrosivity

H2SO4 (3wt%) and HCl (3wt%) are 2.6 and 4.2 times more corrosive, respectively, than a 3 wt% solution of sulfamic acid on 1010 steel. On the same scale, H2SO4 and HCl (3wt% solutions) are 1.5 and 6.7, respectively, times more corrosive on copper; 1.5 and 2.8 more corrosive on brass; 4.0 and 7.0 more corrosive on bronze; 0.6 and 5.3 more corrosive on aluminum.
