Reactivity
DIETHYLENE GLYCOL is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents. It is also incompatible with strong bases. It can react with sulfuric acid and other dehydrating agents, nitric acid, oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, perchloric acid and strong acids.
